Do any of you have an opinion on the types of questions that Dartmouth students asked Rick Perry?

Although crude DC students slung their vulgar remarks openly and disgracefully at Gov. Perry from under the aegis of “free speech”, I hope that the College will reprimand these miscreants under the school’s Code of Conduct; however, knowing and seeing in action the pusillanimous folks running Dartmouth these days, I doubt that the college will raise a peep against this disgusting display. Still, I guess that I can always hope that the college proves me wrong.

@toombs61‌ Republican I assume? Way to protect the first amendment.

Way to not understand the First Amendment.

The First Amendment protects you from being jailed by the gov’t for speaking out. The First Amendment doesn’t protect you from social censure for making an ass out of yourself by being crass.

@GMTplus7‌ So do you think that we should punish these kids for having a little fun? I see no reason why their future should be ruined just because they decided to act on impulse.

Yes, Dartmouth should enforce its code of conduct and punish students who cannot participate in school sponsored forum w civility.

And Rick Perry has great regard for the legal citizens of Texas. He has every right to pursue the deportation of illegal immigrants; they are breaking the law… These people make a mockery of law-abiding foreign nationals who diligently follow the law to apply to immigrate legally.
