Do best grades junior year really help?

You always hear that junior year is most important in high school so I have a question regarding that.

I have always gotten 95/96 as my overall average in school (unweighted) but this year I've been getting 97/98 as my overall average (Im a junior) while talking all honors and APs (i've always taken honors in the past too). Is this going to be any help at all to me? I guess I'm also asking what do people mean when they say junior year is most important?

One other qucik question if anyone knows, do colleges look at your AP test score or the grade you got in the class? Like what if you got a 100 in the class but a 2 or 3 on the AP test?

Yeah I’m a fellow Junior, and I definitely screwed up this year with my course load…ugh.

Yes, an upward trend is always good, especially if the classes are getting more difficult.

You would have to have the score sent to the college. Personally, I waited until I knew where I was applying first, as AP score reports were $25 dollars, and I didn’t want to send them for free because I didn’t want to fail and then show colleges. On that same note, if you end up going to the college, then yes they will see the score, but by then it’s said and done.
