Just worried ;)

I can't be 100% positive about this, but logic tells me no. Whatever information colleges have about you, you have to either send them yourself or give your approval to have it sent. If you don't send in your PSAT scores, then they can't see them. Plus, they don't really care about your PSAT scores, only your SAT scores.

Unless it's on your transcript (which is unlikely) or your counselor discloses it, no.

Nope! The PSAT is only sent to students. College Board does not report them to colleges. Do not worry :)

I would check your transcript to be sure. At our school PSAT from 9th and 11th grades were on transcript. We asked to have them removed when apps were sent out and it wasn't a problem.

Why would you care? Don't you believe colleges when they say they don't look at any test scores except for the SAT and/or ACT?

Most colleges have an announced (and actual) policy of considering your BEST scores. Don't worry about it.

Colleges are advised of NMS (including Nat. Ach. Sch. and the Hispanic Sch progm) recognition based on PSAT scores.

I would say no, unless you mention your NMSF thing, but then again, how can they have access to it. You probably didn't send/photocopy it. I mean really, if they COULD check it, why the heck would we have to pay the $9.50 to send SAT scores?

It is on "official transcript" for some high schools.

It was on my high school transcript.

My school puts it on our transcripts, which ****es me off cuz my PSAT scores suck. They also put all ACT and SAT scores, so if there is an ACT score that I didn't want sent to a college, they could see it on my transcript anyway. The even put those stupid state exam scores on your transcript.

College Board discourages high schools from putting test scores on high school transcripts, for legal reasons.

The most succinct statement I can find of that policy refers to AP scores.

Reports Services for Schools

But the same legal reasoning should apply to other test scores, as far as I know.

I don't get why schools would do that..without your permission too? you might as well not take it if you think youll do badly and you think itll affect you negatively.

No.

Thank God lol!
