Do colleges look at your actual average?

When colleges view your transcript, will they see your actual average that is on the 100 point scale? I'm concerned because I have been slacking this semester and have been maintaining a 96 average in classes in which I know I can make 98+ if I sincerely tried. Do colleges look at this, or will they only see the letter grade / GPA on the 4.0 scale?

Thanks

I can't believe you're complaining about a 96. Seriously, just stop. You really don't have to show off.

Hehe... didn't mean it like that. I just wanted to know if the actual score mattered, because I'm usually studying for AP classes and sleeping through all of my honors classes..... if the grade made a difference I would try to stay awake ;)

I think they look at a 4.0 scale, because a lot of schools don't count points out of 100.

96 vs. 98 isn't that big of a difference. It'd be one thing if you were borderline between two grades (say, 89 vs. 91), but you're not, so I'd say you're okay.

even 89 and 91 is not a big difference if they are going to see the actual percentages

troll troll troll troll

...hopefully?

i'll troll you
