Do colleges look negatively on "dropped" classes?

Simply enough said, do colleges look down upon classes dropped?
here's my figurative situation;

A student take band freshman and sophomore year but decides she doesn't want to do it anymore so does not take it junior or senior year. Bad, good, doesn't matter?

Just curious. I had some friends asking me if I knew anything so I thought I'd ask here!

Thats not dropped.

Dropped means taking Chem AP then dropping out 3 weeks in because it is too challenging. This scenario is not good if it shows up on transcript.

Stopping band after two years is fine, if no longer interested in band. If you decide you'd rather do something different then that should be fine.

Oh ok. So that would work with all activities, theoretically speaking?
