Do colleges see marks of academic dishonesty?

What happens when high school students get a mark of academic dishonesty? Do colleges see it? How much do they take it into consideration?

I believe so. Depending on severity, colleges will consider it to different degrees. For example, one instance of copying someone’s homework will be practically glanced over without a second look, while multiple exam cheating and plagiarism infractions will be taken very seriously.

These are just my guesses, however. I can’t say with 100% certainty.

Yeah they do, and they might screw you over if it’s really bad. They’ll want an explanation, and if you go, “I’m so smart I can BS this explanation and make them think that I’m a good boy blah blah,” you get a ticket to Rejectville.
