Lets say I retake my MathIIC, will colleges like Stanford, Berkeley, and Princeton see my original score? Also, if they do in fact say that they will "see" it, do they mean that they have access to it, or will it be right there on the sheet where my highest score is. I have a hard time believing that if each applicant has one SAT sheet, and only the top scores are posted, that the extremely busy adcoms will actually go and look up all previous attempts.

Colleges see all of your SATI and SATII scores; even if you take them over and score higher.

Right, but when you say "see", do they see all your attempts on a single sheet of paper, or do they just have your attempts stored in a database, and can access them if they wish (even though they likely won't)

They will see all the scores on the computer (scores are usually sent electronically). They will see all of your attempts - that's why people are afraid of retaking several times - although colleges will see your highest scores, human nature will still make the adcom think about those lower scores.

Damn ok. Stupid 790 IIC AHHH I HATE YOU. Man, its like the difference between 10 dollars and 9.99, even though it seems miniscule (1 measly cent) I think that the mind percieves something that is full is much better than is incomplete.

People like you depress me.

lol j/k

Im just saying, that it depressed me too. Technically, its the same score, but the way its percieved, 800 looks much better than 790. Its just..such a clean number. Lol. Doesn't matter, no way in hell am I retaking, so don't be depressed haha.

But as far as the SAT I goes, is there a section that gives your highest combined score as well all the scores from each time it was taken, or do they made the adcoms do the math themselves?

Im not sure, but I doubt that adcoms would tolerate looking through 20,000 apps and manually counting numbers. My guess is that they would have a combined score section as well as best first try section.
