I have a first choice school which i plan to apply EA to..but i also want to apply EA to one other school and find out admission status by December..should i apply to both EA?

Do schools see where else ive applied early? and if so do they care?

Other than that a college’s application may actually ask you to list other colleges you are applying to (and then you have to decide whether to answer that question), they won’t know and won’t care if you are applying EA elsewhere. The exception is schools that have single choice early action (SCEA), Stanford and Yale, which prohibit you from applying EA elsewhere if you apply EA to them, and though they usually won’t actually know you have violated the rule before decisons are issued, they may find out later (colleges can release the names of persons admitted) and withdraw an admission.

Also note that you should not assume EA schools don’t “know” you have applied elsewhere. Most say you can apply elsewhere and those probably assume that EA applicants have done so.
