Do colleges see your ACT sub-section scores?

I am trying to decide what scores I should send for college admissions this fall. I received a 34 on the ACT (34E 33M 35R 32S) and a 2270 on the SAT (800CR 690M 780W). I like my ACT because everything is more balanced (that math score I'm pretty sure was a fluke), but I feel like my perfect CR score could help set me apart a little bit. The reason for the subject line is that I actually DID receive a perfect score on my ACT reading, my sub-section scores were 18 and 18, but my test must have had a terrible curve. Will colleges see that if I send my ACT? Should I just send both, even with my 690? Am I just way over-thinking this?

Send both; they are about the same. Each score has it’s strengths. As you said, your ACT is well balanced. Your SAT 800 CR is really great as well. Quit worrying!

Haha thanks, I had a feeling I was probably making a mountain out of a molehill, does anyone know if they see the sub-section scores though? I’m kind of curious actually, lol.

Yes, they see the sub scores.

@pastwise Ok, thanks!
