<p>Do colleges get a copy of the photo that you send to college board - does it go with your score report? Or is there a photo uploaded in the common app or elsewhere?</p>
<p>No they don’t. It sounds silly but it prevents bias “through looks.” Of course, they could still find you somewhere by searching you on Google, if you have been featured in newspaper clippings, but that is equally as unlikely because most colleges don’t take the time to do that. They read the application and have people to make a decision</p>
<p>I applied to one college last year (I think maybe Vassar?) that had the option on the common app for applicants to submit a photo. I’m not entirely sure what the purpose was. </p>
