Do colleges still send their decision letters by mail or are they all electronic now?

<p>@intparent‌ idk, the acceptance is more gratifying. plus there’s a chance diplomas are also gonna be computerized. </p>

<p>My daughter received a big envelope from Denison. Acceptance letter and academic award letter. Complete financial aid package will be mailed in the next several weeks.</p>

<p>My D saw her LAC EA admission letter with merit offer online. When the big envelope arrived, it also contained a very nice personalized letter with comments about her essay and activities and how these things would make her a great addition to the LAC.</p>

<p>That hasn’t been the case for us so far. Pitt and Alabama both sent letters by snail mail. </p>

<p>I believe Notre Dame and Boston College also send decisions by snail mail.</p>

<p>rutgers sent only email, Penn state was on portal w/letter to follow, univ of del was portal for admission and scholarship about 2 weeks later received letters in the mail. NJIT only sent regular mail/packet.</p>
