Do colleges superscore the ACT?

Hi quick question, do colleges superscore the ACT? liek If you take it 4 times and get a 28 on English, a 24 on math a 26 on Reading and a 24 on Science, do they score the best ones or only the composite score of one test? thanks

I heard colleges do not superscore the ACT, which sucks... because I got a 34 on Science in February, and I'm pretty sure I didn't come close to that on this month's test... but this month, I did bring up my Reading score a lot... I wish I could keep my February Science score and keep this Reading score; my overall composite would increase by at least 2...

some schools do superscore the ACT. I remember seeing a few threads discussing this issue (search!).

I think very few schools superscore the ACT (unfortunately) :( I would just prepare for one section at a time (hah!).

I asked UofI and they said they will look at the highest subscores but they will not average that into a new composite. Which is why they ask you to send in all your ACT scores. I'm sure a lot of other colleges do that too. You'll have to look around.
