I need mine for Common App, but my parents are unavailable- can I just email by guidance couselor and have her give it to me?

Your school might have it, since some schools require you to put it when you sign up. If I were you, I would speak to your counselor personally.

A few things though

Personally, I feel things like your SSN shouldn’t be emailed around, since identity theft is very prevalent, and email hacking is easy to those who want to steal identities

You should probably get your SS card like, now. It’s very important for you to have that. If by your parent’s being unavailable, you mean not answering the phone, then just wait for them, since they should have that. However, if you are in a circumstance that no one you know has that card, you should probably find a way to get it.

Mine is actually on my official transcript, so you could check on that if you have one with you :)

Thank guys. Only my state id # is on my transcript -_-. Okay, I’ll go to my counselor.
