yeah...its pretty obvious football and lacrosse guys get it..but do hot girls dig martial arts guys???

Not really. But the do dig boxers and MMA fighters.

hmm...but boxers and MMA fighters are pieces of hunk w/ *&%$ for brain cells....i mean in high school...taekwondo isn't really big...no team for it..but I was readin that some colleges have taekwondo teams that compete...then TKD could get more attention?

Naaah girls don't dig male ballerinas.

no. no. not at all

Some girls do

"but boxers and MMA fighters are pieces of hunk w/ *&%$ for brain cells"

Tends to be true for boxers, but not so true for mma fighters. Hell the UFC middleweight champ was a highschool math teacher, the lightheavy way champ has a degree in accounting. As a whole they aren't as bad as boxers. (just a generalization)

if i were a girl, i would...

male ballerinas? he ll no, thaitan you should go see some tkd tourneys..

nahh they dont, but they dig trickers.

i'm sorry. i'm a girl and i believe i speak for the rest of the female population. Taekwondo isn't very appealing.

It depends on the guy. <- (hard to believe, I know)

I'm a girl too and I believe you don't. Neither do I. Contrary to popular opinion on here, the female population doesn't speak with one voice.

Also, all the male ballerinas I've known were pretty attractive. They're in great shape, that's for sure.

Oh god, not one of these threads again. What's next......"Do girls fall for heterosexual boys?"

who cares?

some girls like TKD. My one roommate had her blackbelt and most people found her very attractive. but with the whole attitude of will girls like me, then they probably won't. i don't want to be hanging out with someone who is worried if other people like him or not.

have any of the people on here who are saying boxers are really stupid ever actually boxed? It's the most mentally/physically draining sport (well maybe MMA/kickboxing is more, but def nothing else comes close). I'm not saying they're super geniuses, but they're definitely no dumber than any other athlete, and certainly more mentally tough than any athlete.

show up on a date with nunchucks and see what happens

Now, a TKD girl would be hot

boxers may start off smart but after repeated hits to the head many of braindamage.

"have any of the people on here who are saying boxers are really stupid ever actually boxed?"

Yes I've boxed for about 11 years now, and the only reason I kind of agreed with that, is that most people I boxed with came from the ghetto and were poor/uneducated. Not everyone of course don't get me wrong, just as a gerneralization they weren't the brightest bunch. I'm talking about people who take boxing seriously as well, not your average person who does "aerobic" boxing for an hour 3 days a week.

fender girl did you think your roommate who was a girl was very attractive. Did you ask her out or even to be your girl friend...fender girl?

I really agree with this post. I've been training in taekwondo for 11 years and competing nationally for eight years, so I feel like I know a little from experience ;)

I don't think its really that "boxers are stupid" more than education is not really a top priority. When you get to elite levels in the sport, taekwondo is pretty much your life. I'm one of the only ones that still trains AND attends school (most others "homeschool", but few follow through with actual learning at home, instead preferring to replace that time with training time). Additionally, I've had problems almost every year with the administration due to missing time for tournaments: I was almost kicked out of school in eighth grade despite a 4.0 in honors classes. Really, education is seen as more of a hassle than a privelege, at least with the people I train around.

Also, I'd like to echo Swanson's last comment... Most of the time people consider taekwondo to be a little fun activity where you go dance around in a silly uniform a couple times each week pretending to be a ninja. That's not me... I train 2-3 hours a day, 7 days a week: plyometrics, sprints, distance running, mental conditioning, techniques, strategy, etc. Its definitely a real sport that takes just as much dedication and athletcism as other more common ones.
