Do these schools have their own financial aid forms in addition to PROFILE/FAFSA? Please don't bug me about not doing my research...I have very very little time and I would really appreciate feedback. Thanks!

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Stanford
Dartmouth
Brown
Duke
Amherst
Williams
Northwestern
Carnegie Mellon
UC System

Amherst, Williams and Dartmouth do not require any additional forms. If you do have a non-custodial parent, your NCP will have to file his/her statement through the profile.

All schools will require a signed copy of your parents tax forms with w-2s

You really should do the research becasue some school have really strict deadlines and you should not leave your financial future in the hands of others. remember, you have the most vested interest here. OTOH, do you have time not to get the $$ you need.

for academic scholarships at the UC's, no extra forms are required. Fafsa is required for federally-subsided loans, grants and work study. The UC's do not use Profile.

It is in your best interest to spend an hour or two and figure out what EACH college wants. It varies WIDELY from college to college. Some want you to send in your 2004 AND 2005 tax statements, some just need your 2005 statements, some want you to send in your Business/Farm Supplement to the school and some want you to send the Business/Farm Supplement to IDOC.

Make a big spreadsheet and know what they want, how they want it and when the deadlines are. Also expect to send a fair amount of time completing all the paperwork. We own two businesses and it took two days for me to finish everything. Don't wait until the last minute!

For UCs, they also request that you submit the GPA verification form.

Lol, you have "very very little time" to look up information about your financial future, but you can post 1900 times on CC in less than a year.

i'm pretty sure all the ivy leagues (at least Harvard and Dartmouth), as well as Duke, have IDOC, another evil collegeboard thingie. after you send in your CSS Profile and FAFSA to these schools, you will receive more information about IDOC later on in mid-February (or so collegeboard says)

do you have to pay for idoc? seems like you would--anything involving the word "collegeboard" is a sign to whip out your credit card.

sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. stambliark41, i agree with fresnomom. looking it all up will make it much easier for you in the long run. and you'd better do it soon! if i hadn't researched what was due for my schools, i would be in big trouble b/c i never would have guessed that they would make stuff due so soon. these deadlines can be really crazy, and they're all over the place, lurking to catch you. get on task now and you should be okay!
