Do I even Have a hot with a 31 ACT?

<p>My GPA is ~3.8 W and 4.3UW
I am 7/300 for these schools:</p>

<p>Columbia
UPenn
Cornell
Colgate
Bowdoin
Amherst
Tufts
BC Management</p>

UPenn: High Reach
Cornell: Reach
Colgate: Low Reach/High Match
Tufts: High Match</p>

<p>A 31 on the ACT is relatively low for the Ivy league schools. I think you may have gotten your W GPA and UW GPA reversed (W GPA is usually higher). Overall, it would ultimately come down to your essays and ECs.</p>

<p>A 31 ACT will make any Ivy a difficult admit, but that depends as well on the significance of any leadership positions or awards you have garnered, including whatever ECs you participated in. Your rank is strong, but remember that most of these schools get thousands of valedictorians and salutatorians applying (I’m in your shoes too, for that matter). Retake it and see how you do.</p>
