I volunteer 10hrs/week at an elementary school.
I plan on running for class treasurer my senior year.

I'm not shooting for UCLA/CAL so obviously, I'm not going to get in there.
I want to major in Communications/Public Relations.
Dream: USC
Reach: UCD, USD
I have so many safety schools, it's not even funny. I'm actually considering just going to a cc then transferring.

My SAT & ACT scores are low because I took them all without proper studying and preparing, LOLimsodumbferreal. --I need all the tips and advice I can get! :'(--

UCD, USCD, USC- no
Try for a lower UC, like Riverside

Don’t give up hope! I don’t know about Communications/Public Relations specifically but just based on UC schools alone… you should have a descent chance at getting into Riverside and Santa Cruz, although Santa Cruz will be more of a reach. The other UC schools will be a big reach. You really must raise your SAT score as it’s very low for the UC system. I’d recommend trying to achieve at least a 1750.

You can always attend a Cal State school and then transfer to a UC school. You will start fresh at a Cal State and can definitely work to achieving a 4.0 GPA so that you’ll have a great chance at transferring into a great UC school.

@bob- But Riverside has such a high acceptance rate… lol. Anyone can get in.
@vihzel - Thanks :). And I am studying and doing practice for the SAT & ACT. I feel like I should focus more on improving my SAT score rather than my grades because I think it looks a bit off if I have a majority of A’s and a very low SAT score, lol. And transferring later on is one of my options.

try u san diego
u miami
utexas
other state scools
get fafsa

@irmjunior- I am definitely going to apply for financial aid, lol. And out of state schools are not an option.
