<p>I pretty much RUINED my chances in my eyes. I am currently a freshman and Harvard is my dream school<3 But....</p>
<p>My first quarter of Freshman year...I got a C+ in Algebra 2, and SEVERAL B's.</p>
<p>I am in 5 Extra-curriculars, and am looked at as a huge leader in my school. I am involved in multiple non-profit organizations. And have spoken at many places. I want to change th world, and I am very active in my community. </p>
<p>Is the fact that I ruined my first quarter going to KILL me?</p>
<p>I also play 2 sports. And I am a very under-represented minority, I can pretty much say that I KNOW Harvard doesn't have anyone from my country in their school, and if they do 1-5 of them. I am the daughter of refugees.</p>
<p>I was born and raised in America, my parents are refugees though 
I am not international…</p>
<p>Oh and my high school sends semester grades: I JUST REMEMBERED THAT! Thanks fro reminding, currently for my second quarter I have pretty much straight A’s. So my 1st semester will be decent…not great.</p>
<p>of course you havent ruined your chances. most harvard kids start out strong and stay strong, but if you shape up dramatically you’ll be fine.</p>

<p>You haven’t killed your chances, but you should try to raise those grades by the end of the semester. But you’re still a freshman, you have some time.</p>
<p>as long as you can get all your grades up to As … youll be fine hah</p>

<p>If you’re a freshman, I would direct you away from “What Are My Chances?” and toward “High School Life.”</p>
