Do I Have a Chance? (Current Yalies Please Help)

I know these threads are probably really annoying but I want to know how plausible it is that I get accepted into Yale. My family and friends all tell me "Oh I think you'll definitely get in," but they're biased and I don't think they realize there are tons of people better than me out there. So I'm feeling a mix of confidence and insecurity regarding my application and I just wanted to try to clear it up with people with more experience. Here's my information

Ethnicity: White
Sex: Male
Age: 17

ACADEMICS
-I have taken all Honors and AP courses during High School. I attend a Magnet School and apparently all the classes are Honors.
-My upcoming courses for this year are AP French, AP Chemsitry, AP Calculus BC, AP US Government and Politics, and English 4.
-Last year I took two AP's, US History and Calculus AB (the only two offered).
-My weighted GPA is 4.05 and my class rank is 7/104, although this is from tenth grade because my school district sucks. They are "revamping" the system and so they are still calculating our ranks in the new method. We won't find out until this upcomng year our new ranks, but I have reason to believe mine will get better for reasons it would take too long to mention since this is the second time I'm typing this thread.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
-A lot of things through my church.
- Play piano at nursing home a couple of times a year, don't know if this counts but I feel like it would.
-I never found out if NHS and Blood Drive and tutoring stuff like that counts twice.

If I left anything out just ask me about it, like I said I had to type all this over again and I got frustrated. Assuming my essays turn out okay and my interview went as good as I think it did, please tell me if you think I'll get in. And be BRUTALLY HONEST. If you think I don't have a chance in hell just say that. If you think my chances are really weak say that. It's better than my friends telling me I'm a shoe-in and then getting a rejection. Thanks.

im kinda confused on the 600 in french and national winner in french competition

it's sorta like my case, got a 640 in spanish, yet i have spanish work published in spain, -.-.

i took the french test in tenth grade, which is the same year i got the honorable mention, so it kind of makes sense. I'm just hoping that doesn't matter too much since I do have three pretty good scores. But please help with my chances, I'm so nervous about applications!

Also, I've wanted to know about getting your admission decision online. I heard that it's possible, but I don't know the process. Do you have to create an account on yale.edu? Do they send you a letter with a setup code first or something to create the account (I did that with my Young Scholars Program)? And also, how early can you get it online? Is it significantly earleir than through the mail. which I heard is around December 15, or is it around the same time?

Good scores, grades, and decent in-school leadership positions, but ECs are average and awards/honors are lacking (except for the French award, which I don't know enough about). The AIME isn't too special, since over 22,000 people take it every year.

You have a chance, but don't get your hopes up.

As for getting your decision online, they will email you information about creating your Eli account after you submit your application.

The french award probably doesn't help too much if the rest aren't good. A lot of people get national standing, but that's because it's decided by a certain score. So I guess it's good but not too special. I wasn't sure if the AIME was worth mentioning, but I've seen people report stuff like student of the week, or close to that, so I might still include it. I'm proud of it, at least. Thanks.

Definitely include the AIME and anything else you can. I was just trying to give you a sense of the prestige of those awards/honors.

Your SAT and SAT II scores are decent. That 600 in French could potentially hurt you since you have so many French awards. I wouldn't worry about it too much though your other scores should offset this. Overall you have typical ECs that show really no leadership or immense dedication. Only somes of your ECs have been done for a period of atleast four years. Stressing AIME may or may not help you chances, what was your score? If you received a score of atleast 7 I would report it, if not then don't. A 7 usually gets you into USAMO anything lower than that isn't worth mentioning. You have only one AP score, although you have some college credits. What classes did you take at UPenn? You said brutally honest, I think you have a shot if you apply SCEA otherwise you would be a typical applicant, nothing stands out for me.

To Yoshi, just to address a few things you said:
I agree with the French SATII Score, I really never should have taken that. The fact that I couldn't find a prep book for it should have been a bad sign.
My AIME score was a 2, but I wanted to show that I was invited to take it, not that I progressed.
I feel that I do have a pretty good amount of leadership in my clubs and I DEFINITELY feel dedication to a lot of them. I love the Blood Drive and NHS, both which have age/grade restrictions which is why I started them so late. And obviously I've stuck for Piano for a long time.
I had two AP Scores and I don't know if it's worht mentioning at all to any college (hopefully someone could clear this up for me), I'm "self-studying" (from things I've seen on this website it sounds like that's an official name) AP Statistics because my subject track wouldn't allow me to take it and I really wanted to.
I took Psychology at Penn, and am taking Philosophy this semester (both intro classes). It reccomended humanitarian classes and my school offers neither so thought they would be interesting to take. They should be transferrable, though I'll have to do some research to find out if they are. But it was worthwhile no matter what, I'd reccomend it to any Philly residents or others (they have online classes too I think).

Thanks for your opinion. I'm just going to apply early and hope for the best. Meanwhile I'll find other colleges to focus on.

A 7 can't get you into USAMO even with a perfect AMC score. Usually you need around a 240 index to qualify (AMC + 10x AIME score).

I just wanted to say that's it's great that you were invited to take the AIME because of your AMC score, but that honor isn't really that prestigious, I've been invited to take it four years in a row. I apologize for being so harsh about the ECs, there are of course age restrictions which I didn't consider. Thus, now I can say you have a reasonable amount of leadership in clubs and organizations you are passionate about. Playing piano a long time is a good thing I would assume, but many Yale hopefuls also play instruments for a long time. Also mention you AP scores, I just though you took AP Calc BC and the AB was your sub-score, thus I said one score, do they really count as two? Best of luck, sorry for sounding so harsh before, thus I am writing this post to clarify some things I said.

No I understand, I didn't think you sounded harsh I just wanted to clear that up for personal reasons. Thanks for your advice. And I'm not sure about the AP situation, but I took APUSH and APCalcAB last year and those were my two scores, I'm taking CalcBC this year (I realize looking at this site that that is pretty pointless, but it's how my school does it, I have not other choices but to take AB then BC).
