Do I have a chance if I apply to the diversity weekend?

I have a decent gpa (3.87), and I have a decent amount of extra curriculars. My major concern is that my SAT score is really bad (1900). I took it before studying the day after getting back from vacation. I plan on retaking it in october and within a week of studying I’m getting in the 2000-2100 range. After summer I’m really sure that I can get atleast a 2100. This is all fine and good but when I apply to the diversity program it will be before the earliest SAT date. Do I even have a chance? I cant get into amherst with a 1900, so why would I get into this program?

I got into Amherst with a 1910. There are soooooo many factors that they take into account, like the fact that you may or may not be a really bad timed test taker. Like me. Just stay awesome academic-wise, write awesome, and you have as good of a shot as anyone else. And apply to the diversity weekend, it was so freaking awesome(: Amherst is beautiful haha
