Do I have a chance of getting admitted into SDSU???

I am a high school senior who applied for the fall term of 2017 under the major of Pre-Nursing. I have a 3.92 gpa and got a 27 on the ACT. My first semester senior year got a little shakey due to all the family problems and did lower my GPA to a 3.82. Do you think I still have a chance of getting into SDSU?

SDSU Nursing is a tough admit with a 7% acceptance rate last year. Your CSU GPA and Test scores are below average, so I would say a Reach.

@rebeccamrude1234 I would say no based on EIs of admiiltted freshmen being over 4600 SAT/1100 ACT. Nursing acceptances were notified yesterday around 6pm. The ones reporting on CC and other friends admitted all had a status date of 2/14/2017 prior to yesterday which was updated to 2/24/2017.

Any results yet?

@confuseddeer yeah i got the rejection letter today :frowning:

Aw sorry to hear :frowning: Is there any chance of you being able to appeal? I’m pretty sure the nursing program has a waitlist so there could still be hope

I was waitlisted/denied from SDSU nursing last year and I appealed, wrote letters with my stats and my passion to the nursing school administration and got in! Don’t give up hope!
