thanks @“aunt bea” I read this on another thread: “Cal Poly, admittedly, doesn’t have a lot of resources for undergrad research compared to large research universities”. This is why I don’t really want to go to Cal Poly.

can someone help me with my question on post #17? I’ve been thinking of this as an option for a while

Based on 2016 Data and this data does not take into account highly competitive majors such as CS to expect the numbers to be lower.

Freshman admit rates for UC GPA of 3.80-4.19:
