do i have a chance?

hey guys lets say i had a really bad freshman year, which brought my gpa waaaay down. but my sophmore and junior year is amazing and i got all 5's on my ap exams, and my resume is great (including scores) do i still have a chance for Harvard Buissness?

any EC? community service? sports? clubs?

you reallyyyy need more info there buddy because getting just fives on AP exams and maybe a 4.0 avg won’t get you anywhere.

alright so here is my total resume.

4.6 weighted GPA (my freshman year is horrondous, but junior is spotless)
5’s on almost all my AP’s so far

I think my essay is really good as well, so what do you think?

Are you asking for chances at Harvard Business School? If so…you have 0.00001% chance at the present moment. o.o

…

If you are talking about the college, I still wouldn’t expect too much. But who knows?

OP - what Fatum is obliquely saying is that HBS is only a graduate school and there are no undergraduate business majors at Harvard College.

ohhhh sorry my bad. stupid mistake. however do my chances for the college itself look ok?

you have a chance, they receive 30,000 applicants, if you are in the top half of applicants, very possible, since your SATs are in the top 30% for accepted students and your APs, extracurriculars are solid, they accept 2,200 students, you are looking at 2,200/15,000= 15% chance at least, that makes you have to be one in seven with your essay, recs, “whole picture” etc. That being said, obviously the odds are against you and it is hard to stand out among the top 15,000 students in the nation. What do you “bring to the university”
