i'm only a junior but i've already started looking at colleges and somewhat deciding how far i want to go. i've been interested in pharmacy for the past three years and that's what i'd like to major in. I would love to get accepted into the Ernest Mario School of pharmacy. My weighted GPA is a 3.7 and my class rank is currently 114 out of 553 but i am in all Honors and AP classes and my class is really competitive. However, I am in ten clubs and activities, including Vice President of my class and secretary of Spanish Honor Society. I also have 316 hours of volunteer service, and I have had two jobs. Of course I have been looking at other schools, however I live in New Jersey so I would prefer to live in state since it is much cheaper. I am an African American female and I only live with my mother, so our finances are pretty limited. The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy is the only full six-year pharmacy program in NJ so it would be the only college I could attend. However, I would be more than happy to get accepted into the 2+4 program in Camden as well. Before I get my hopes up, do you think I have a chance at getting accepted ???!!

Your extracurriculars are good but I'm not too sure about your gpa/rank.

Start studying for your SATs as that could definitely help you get in. Even if you don't get into the New Brunswick program (which i can't say since you didn't take SATs yet I'm assuming), I think you have a decent shot at the 2+4 programs in newark/camden.

well I just took SATs on January 24th, so I havent received my scores yet.
