Do I have a shot at becoming a finalist for Questbridge?

<p>I was wondering if I have a shot at becoming a finalist in the Questbridge program. Please let me know what you think in the comments section :)
I found the objective format in another forum. </p>

SAT: Not taken yet
ACT: Not taken yet
SAT II: Not taken yet
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.8
Rank (percentile if rank is unavailable): School eliminated ranking, but last year I was 45/1121
AP (place score in parenthesis): AP Human Geography (4), AP Spanish Language (5) and AP English Language (2)-- horrible, I know.
AP classes junior year, have not taken the AP tests yet: AP Chemistry, AP Spanish Literature and AP Psychology
Senior Year Course Load (I recently signed up for my classes next year) : AP Calculus AB, AP Physics B, AP Studio Art: 3-D Design, H astrochemistry and H sound engineering<br>
Minor Awards: Considered a Scholar at my high school (recognition given)
Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Cross Country and Track (JV, Sophomore year), Chemistry Club (member), Math Team (member), Art Classes outside of school (3 hours per class) and I recently joined Key Club
Job/Work Experience:
Volunteer/Community service: over 150 hours completed during middle school and high school, although mostly middle school- along with my group, we created some fundraisers for my middle school for shelters and the red cross (successful)
Summer Activities: Cross country, Spending quality time with family
Essays:
Teacher Recommendations: I'm sure I can get a couple of great ones
Counselor Rec: If I were to ask, I'm sure it would be good

Extenuating Circumstances: Mom was very sick for over a year, had to make sure I was home at specific hours to be there for her.
Hooks (URM, first generation college, etc.): First Generation College, Low income, Interested in Engineering and Chemistry, and possibly that I live in a very urban area with a lot of gang activity
Reflection
Strengths: GPA, Excess amount of High school credits
Weaknesses: Extracurriculars, I plan to do more during the summer and before the school year ends but not sure if this will help!
I plan to do a lot more now that my mom feels much better :)
and my Essay writing skills are not the best. However, I do plan to get help for it as soon as possible. </p>

<p>Questbridge College Prep junior program app deadline is 3/26. Getting accepted to this program would be a good first step.</p>
