Do I have a shot at Clemson?

Hi! So I am currently an in state student in South Carolina and am curious if I have a shot a Clemson. Here are my stats:
4.1 GPA 3.7 (UW)
1160 SAT score
Currently taking 3 AP’S as a senior
Honors Chemistry class in 10th grade

I have a pretty good extra curriculum with over 60 hours of community service, attended the Clemson summer scholar program 2 years in a row, selected for Palmetto girl’s state, active in Cross Country,Track, and Cheer throughout high school. My mom and 2 grandfathers went to Clemson and I am active in numerous clubs at my school.I have also mentioned my travel opportunities (11 countries) on my application and my school I go to is highly competitive in the state (private school).

I want to major in either History or English.

The only problem I see is my SAT score being rejected. I know Clemson has competitive SAT scores, but I feel they lower the standards for instate student.

Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Clemson looks at GPA, test scores , rank and rigor when determining admission . ECs are weighed very little in admission . Admission to Clemson has become very competitive over the past several years , especially among instate students . Students with stats similar to yours were easily admitted several years ago, it’s hard to say right now. For the past few years , over 20,000 applications were received. Good luck.
