California resident, IB Diploma candidate, my 10-12 cumulative GPA is 4.35, my SAT is 2000, 580 Math, 720 Writing and 700 Reading, I’ve been in National Honor Society Grades 11-12, I was a team captain on Cross Country, and was an officer in my school’s JROTC program. Any input helps, thank you
How can you have a 10-12 GPA? Are you on a gap year? Poly uses 9-11 CSU calculated GPA only. Do you have time to retake the SAT? They don’t take writing. Even though your overall score of 2000 is good, your two score 1280 will be lower than average for biology. Did you have a leadership role in JROTC, no matter how small it might have seemed?
Your SAT math score is low and as @eyemgh pointed out SLO only uses Math + CR. You GPA looks competitive but the acceptance rate for Biology is around 15-17% so very competitive. I agree you should consider retaking the SAT or try the ACT.
I was an officer in JROTC so yes to eldership and I’m a senior, sorry, my school puts a lot of weird stuff on the transcript. It appears my 9-11 is 4.241, I just retook the SAT so hopefully I scored higher.
