So Let me know what you guys think I need to improve on to help increase my chances for admission! I know that my SAT and ACT scores are low, I've spent countless hours working to improve them and will continue to do so. Thanks

No. An 1890 is way too low.

You should post on the ND thread, but the standardized tests look low.

Definitely not a guarantee or competitive enough with your scores. Try retaking your SAT and maybe ACT as well. Then apply. You have nothing to loose than maybe the application fees, that is, if you are rejected. So you never know unless you try.

In addition, Egypt does not qualify you as African American. Yes it is in Africa, but schools classify it as Middle eastern. Same goes to students from Morocco, Libya, etc. which will put you right in the Asian category. Just thought I mention that to you, so you will not find yourself defending your position if this should become a problem.

Egyptian isn’t counted as African American. You SAT/ACT scores need to be raised to at least a 2000 to be competitive.
And are those the only classes you’ve taken wth A grades? If so, then you would be wasting your time applying unless you just finished freshman year.

I’m pretty sure that North Africans are considered white, not Asian and not African American.

Where in N.Africa is considered white?
Egypt, Libya, Morocco are all considered part of the middle east by ethnicity and race, but geographically Africa.
The only African Country that almost half the citizens are considered white is South Africa.
So, yes they usually check the Asian Box, and then subcategory… Middle Eastern.

@‌ccco2018 Middle Eastern is CAUCASIAN.

LOL…
Middle Easterners falls into Arabs or Asians(Geographically Africa, Europe, Asia) but not whites.
Sure not all Caucasians are Whites, if your are going the politically-correct right route.
Anyway… to everyman its own, OP can check whatever BOX he/she seems pleases.
