I want to major in English or Jewish studies, but I'm really interested in medicine and I plan on going to medical school.

P.S. How important is it that I retake my not-so-good SAT-II's?

Yes, you have a shot at all of the schools on your list but none of them are a sure thing. I'd feel better if you had at least two solid match/safety schools in the mix.

Good. You sound like you have a terrific list and you certainly wouldn't go wrong with Uof Washington or Reed. Best of luck - I suspect you'll have some good news come spring.

adam isnt it crazy that with ur gpa you are still 20th in the class!!! are class is to ****ing smart, but anyways you got great chances at all those schools as long as you have good essays. your a stand out genius, see you tomorrow at school!

you should stick im some safeties just in case the radioactive rays emitted from the cell phones of the college admissions people change their thinking

Your stats are similar to mine, so I think you have an okay shot at some of the schools on your list. Here is my opinion, but keep in mind that I'm human:

Brown...Reach (Brown can be a bit unpredictable)...30-35%
Stanford...Reach (Has a lot of Pacific Northwest apps)...25-30%
Pomona...Reach (Like Stanford, many apps from the Northwest)...35-40%
Williams...Reach (Geographic diversty can boost your app)...30-35%
Amherst...Reach (Like Williams, geography plays a part)...30-35%
Reed...Match/Safety...75-80%
UWashington...Safety...95%

Would also add The Evergreen State College as a safety (100% chance), since it is similar to Reed, and a financial safety. A few more possible suggestions:

Again, it's just my opinion. I would suggest applying ED/SCEA/EA to boost your chances, if you have a clear first choice. Anyhow, good luck with your apps.

Yeah, that second group of schools you listed are almost all other ones I considered applying to. I think I may still pick one of those. Thanks a lot for your input and good luck to you as well. Where are you applying?

I think you definitely have a shot at all of the schools you listed. Brown is the most unpredictable, but, from the rest of your posts, it seems like you have an interesting personality. They like that. Good luck. :)
