<p>Penn is my first choice and I want to know my chances of getting in Early Decision. I have an older sibling there currently(will that improve my application status???) My SAT scores: Writing 690 Math: 640 Critical Reading: 660 … SAT II’s Literature 710 French 720 Math I: 650 I am taking the SAT I’s again in Oct. I have been a varsity athlete, recieved many awards, etc. My GPA is very high. I am also considering WashU and Tufts. I def want to apply ED to one of the schools. What are your thoughts? Thanks!</p>

<p>Just looking at your stats, I'd say you will have a tougher time with the admissions commitee at Penn. However, if your older sibling is doing well here, then that would pump up your chances, ignoring everything else. </p>
<p>On the other hand, if your sibling is doing poorly, your chances will go down---especially if that older sibling had similar stats to yours.</p>
