GPA is way too low for UMich unless your school has had kids admitted with it…

Not much of a chance. I’m thinking your GPA is around 3.4, which is far too low for Michigan. Michigan doesn’t weight GPA so always use your UW gpa. You SAT is also mediocre so that won’t help you much and being out of state, that’s pretty much it. Your best bet at Michigan is as a transfer student. Even a 4.0 your next semester won’t do you enough good to get in. Sorry.

yea your gpa is WAY too low. you have a C- in AP Chemistry and a B in AP Gov. Umich’s average probably translates into like a 91-93 UW average

Looking at it though his HS may just be very hard. I mean he got a C- in AP Chem but a 4 on the test. Idk though, but I’m sure umich does

It seems as though you are a bit of a reach, but you still have a chance if you can raise the gpa a bit.

Purpleduckman- I managed to do something like that as well. I averaged 65% on tests in my AP Chem class and got a 4. I also had a C in Calc BC and still managed to get a 4. It’s not at all impossible if you’re a good test taker. It doesn’t mean anything in terms of how hard the high school is.
