Okay, so here's my situation. I did very poorly my first 2 years in college and have been working to bring my GPA up since then. I'm now a senior and about to graduate after one more semester. I want to teach high school after I graduate but the program to get my teaching certification requires a 2.5 minimum GPA and I am currently at 2.47 with little hope of actually breaking 2.5 before graduation. The option of staying enrolled a little longer before graduation to bump that up is not possible so my question is this: Is there a way to improve my GPA to meet the requirement for the teaching certification program after graduation or will I be stuck just a hair short if I graduate with below the minimum? I could take classes at a community college to raise my GPA if that option would work.
