Do I have the accolades to get into Harvard?

Hi everyone!

I was recently contemplating in my head the odds of getting into my dream college, Harvard.

I have a 4.0 GPA and take all AP courses. I am at the top of my class. I am involved in several clubs such as service club (which I am President of). I also play Tennis on my schools team. I go on mission trips with my Grandfather, who is a doctor, to India to help him aid the sick. I am also involved in a charity (OKA!) that my family friends started and want me to get more involved in. Finally, my uncle is friends with a Harvard interviewer which I thought might help me.

The only issue is that I only got a 29 on my ACT. I have not taken my SAT subject tests yet and I may take the SAT to see if I do better on that compared to the ACT. Please help!

People here can’t be the judge of that. If you want to get into Harvard, work your ass off and make that a viable goal. You’ll then receive absolute satisfaction when you send in your application–knowing that you have given it your all.

(But raise that ACT score to a 34 minimum. I recommend the red ACT book).

You barely gave any information!

29 is not good enough
