Does MIT require a student to send all of his or her ACT scores?

Their website says (seriously, this took me less than three minutes):

If you do send more than one score, though, MIT will only use the scores to evaluate you that put you in the best light. So you’re free to send only your best score, but you don’t need to do so.

So if I, say, put MIT as one of the free schools to send an ACT Score Report to, re-took the test, and got a better score the second time around MIT would discount the original score and only look at the new (better) one?

Correct.

If you take the same test multiple times, MIT will only look at your best score.
If you take the same test multiple times and do better on one part one time and another part another time, MIT will superscore the different sittings and only look at the best section scores.
If you take more than one kind of test in a category (SAT+ACT, or more than one science SAT), MIT will only look at your best score.
