Do i have to send all SAT subject test scores to duke?

I did very bad on 4 subject tests that I would not like to be considered with my application - I know I have to send all SAT test results, but will I have to submit all SAT II’s?

Does Duke require SAT II’s? If so then you need to submit them.

Yes, Duke requires at least 2 SAT 2s, but also requires all tests that applicant has taken be sent. http://admissions.duke.edu/application/checklist

Do you think that all subject test scores will be considered then?

yes. Unless you have an ACT score (w/writing) to send, you will have to send all SAT (1 & 2)

If you took the ACT w/writing, you might be better off just sending that. Otherwise, yes, you’d have to send all subject tests (although I’m pretty sure they would have no way of knowing if you didn’t… but lying is generally not recommended)

How bad? How do they compare to your SAT I

@laphysica really bad… my regular SAT is above the average at duke but i have some terrible scores from sophomore and junior year that are below the 50th percentile. will they consider all of these scores?

nevermind, found this on their website-

“For students who choose to submit SAT scores, Duke will use the highest available Critical Reading, Writing and Math scores, plus the two highest subject test scores, regardless of the date those tests were taken. Our school code for the SAT is 5156.”

@gray7time Check the admissions website. This appears to have changed. Subject tests are now “strongly recommended” but not required. And it also seems as though you can select which SAT scores to send and do not have to send the entire testing record. Looks like Duke is now score choice.
