December ACT scores just came out, and I unfortunately scored lower than my previous September ACT score.

Dec ACT Composite: 27
Sept ACT Composite: 29

It was expected; my experience with this ACT was just so much different from the one back in September, but I was still really hoping for that 29.5+. Really disappointed in myself, but there's not much I can do at this point so I'm trying not to beat myself up over it.

I didn't improve on any one individual section either. Luckily, I didn't use the free score reports to blindly send it to any colleges, however, I did indicate on UC and CSU apps that I would be taking it, so they're probably expecting that score. I was able to access my UC application and change the answer to the question "If you plan to take or retake this test, what is the test date?" to just blank/NA, rather than the previously stated Dec 2013. Can't do the same for CSU apps, though.

Do I absolutely HAVE to send this score? Will it look bad if I don't? Is simply changing the answer to that question on the UC application sufficient enough or would I still have to send it? I have already been accepted to San Diego State and they're not requiring the Dec ACT score. But for the other CSU I applied to, Cal Poly SLO, would I have to send it?
