Do I have to send my senior first term grade for ED?

<p>Did your counsellors send in your first term marks for ED?</p>

<p>I really don’t like my grade this year, and I thought that I didn’t need senior first term marks for ED.</p>

<p>I thought only grad 9,10,11 marks counted for ED.</p>

<p>I’m confused here!</p>

<p>I think form 2B is the mid-year report, which your school is supposed to send after the first semester</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure Brown doesn't ask for first quarter grades. Correct me if I'm wrong (and if I am, their website sure as heck doesn't state it).</p>

<p>I applied ED, but my first semester ends Dec. 15th, and I get my grades in January...do I need to send anything?</p>

<p>First quarter - not semester - grades have to be submitted as part of the ED application.</p>

<p>Prefer receipt by Nov 15, but will accept them ASAP per school's schedule.</p>

<p>Poor first quarter indicates lack of serious intent in senior year.</p>

<p>Schools are swamped with ED applicants - first thing looked for is a reason to eliminate an application. This includes folders that do not include first quarter grades. Not to mention poor grammar in your essay!</p>

<p>I just got my request in to my counselor (who had never heard of quarter grades needing to be sent in before), so she'll probably send it off soon and it'll arrive @ Brown by the end of next week. </p>

<p>I just hope that that's not too late...</p>

<p>haha my report card just came in the mail today. i had striaght as on everything except a B+ in gym. i have no idea why i got a B+ in gym but i wonder how those adcom people are gonna take that... ahahaha</p>
