Hi! I am a junior, going to be a senior. As a freshmen, my school only offered a course called "natural science", so sophomore year I took Biology cp/ junior year I am taking chemistry cp. For senior year, I have the option of taking CP physics or CP anatomy. I am already taking an AP and 2 honors course (my most challenging course in high school). My guidance consular is forcing me to take physics CP (where I would get at best a B in) or my choice of taking anatomy CP (I would get at least an A-). What should I do???

Physics won’t kill you, neither will a single B, and it looks better. And why are you assuming a B from the start?

Take physics

What is your long-range career goal? If you know for dead certain that physics isn’t necessary, and that you aren’t likely to change your career goal, then you are free to choose between whichever science courses your HS offers.

If you are pre-med, or will probably major in a science, take physics. Chances are you will have to take it again in college and you want to have some background for that class so you don’t wipe out.
