I go to the University of South Carolina. After my first year, I wanted to raise my GPA over the summer so I took a course at a local community college. I made sure the course would transfer and filled out the paperwork at both schools. At the end of the summer semester, I got a really bad grade and decided it would be best not for me to transfer the credit over to USC. I called the office at the community college and they told me as long as I don’t send USC my transcript from the community college, they can’t transfer the credit. Then I called USC and they said I had to send them my transcript. What do I do?
You are obliged to send them the transcript. Period.
Whether or not the credits transfer is up to USC. Whether or not the grade is actually posted on your USC transcript is up to USC.
