<p>I will be a freshman this year and living in the dorms (hopefully on south side). Do I really need a car my freshman year? Parking is pretty expensive.</p>

<p>I didn’t have a car my freshmen year - lived on campus. There’s lots of people with cars if you really need to go somewhere someone can give you a ride. There’s a good bus system on campus that also goes a few places off campus.</p>
