I'm a junior and I want to major in some sort of science in college, despite my hatred of math. Right now, I take calc AB AP, physics GT, and environmental AP. I've already taken chem GT and bio GT.

I know that calc BC will help me in college, but I love my current senior schedule, which feels like the perfect balance of challenging and interesting courses. I know that I will dislike calc BC if I take it and that I will get low B's. I barely get B's in my calc AB class. This is my current senior schedule:

Chem AP
*Bio AP
Stats AP
Psych AP
**English lit AP
French AP
Art honors

The starred ones are the super difficult classes. The unstarred ones are the supposedly easier classes. The status of AP doesn't necessarily designate a class as difficult, just that it's centered around the AP test. All these classes genuinely interest me, except stats, which I only have for the math credit. If I do take calc BC, it would replace either chem or bio. I would much rather have two science courses than two math courses.

TL;DR: Will my opting out of calc BC drastically hurt my chances of getting into colleges like Carnegie Mellon, UMich, UChicago, ect., even with the rigor of my senior schedule? Do colleges specifically look for calc BC on transcripts?

Thank you!!
