Hi I’m trying to change my schedule but I really can’t decide between these two (please just take a look at ap subjects) :
A.
AP Calculus BC
AP US History 2
AP Biology
AP Psychology
AP Statistics
B.
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP US History 2
AP Statistics
I took AP Calculus AB in my junior year, but what I’m hearing is that BC is necessary to take in high school since the college admission officers look at the rigor of the courses.
IS CAL BC THAT IMPORTANT? DO I REALLY NEED TO TAKE IT?
My dream school is UPenn, majoring in biology or neurology-related subject with pre-vet track!
Please help me out THANKS!
Yes, AP Calc BC is that important. You would be dropping a core class for, technically, an elective. I can assure you that the second option will not give you any additional points.
You don’t have to take two AP Sciences…it is not expected.
I think i would go with the first option.
Although if you went with the second option that would be okay too.
