Do I need to set up an interview?

<p>Do I need an interview, and if so do I need to set it up myself, or will Cornell ask for it? I am applying to the college of engineering so an interview is not technically required but I was told it is very important that I get an interview anyway. Is this true?</p>

<p>Cornell will contact you about an interview if an alumnus is available to interview you. If you don't get an interview, it's okay too. You don't need it for admission.</p>

<p>i'm applying to engineering also and i just got the call for an interview yesterday. the alum said that engineering has been particularly slow with the interviews, and they had only sent her my info yesterday.</p>
