Do I need to submit the FAFSA for a national merit finalist scholarship at a school?

<p>I'm going to UT Dallas next year, and they sent me a letter that says if I send in the yellow card with UT Dallas on it by the 28th of April, I'll get a full ride and stuff.</p>

<p>If you are going next year and they are giving you a full ride, there would be no need for FAFSA as this is merit based not need based scholarship. If you have decided you are going there just send the card in. Anyway FAFSA will be based on 2010 information and it is a little too early for that.</p>
