<p>I am a highschool senior I am probably in the top 5% of my class. My GPA is a 4.1 unweighted and a 4.64 weighted. I have not gotten a grade lower than an A- in my highschool career. Junior year I took AP Bio and AP Lang. Senior year I am talking AP Calc, AP Physics, and AP Psych. I am in NHS and I participate in community service at me church. I have played volleyball and lacrosse all 4 years. The biggest downside to my application is my SAT and ACT scores I got a 1710 on my SAT and a 24 on my ACT. Will these scores keep me from getting a scholarship? I am interested in biomedical engineering. </p>
<p>WPI has become very competive in the past few years. Last year, there were over 10,000 applicants, whereas in 2011, there were only 7000 for the same number of spots. WPI is test optional so if you have other strong elements to your application, the scores will not be reviewed.</p>
