You might take into consideration your strengths as a student.
My kid is strong in math, but less so in science. The 11th grade year is the most important in terms of grades and rigor that will be demonstrated at the time applications are submitted.
So my kid elected to take all AP courses as an 11th grader, including Calc BC, but an easier science class — saved AP Physics for 12th grade. That way, the 12th grade science course shows rigor, but if the final Physics grade/score isn’t as strong, it will have less impact on admissions. GPA and rank will have already been submitted based on the 11th grade transcript and the 12th grade AP test scores have less importance.
