I earned dual/concurrent high school and college credit for a bunch of classes last year- totaling 20 credits. I already sent my high school transcript to all the colleges I'm applying to, but do I need to send my college transcripts as well?

A few of them specified that I DO need to send these transcripts. But specifically the ones I applied to using the Common App there isn't a place to send them. (Stanford, Duke, and USC-- do they need my college transcripts?)

Note... I am entering as a freshman not a transfer student.

You should send them to your colleges, I’m in your situation also in which I will have a college transcript. I guess your school will do it for you, but if not then just mail it to them. I’m sure it doesn’t weigh as much as your HS transcripts, but they are used so you can get credit for these classes in college.

Thanks. It’s $10/transcript though at the college I have credits through and I don’t want to pay that for all the schools I’m applying to… looks like I don’t have a choice?

You need to send the transcripts. If you think that it is too much money, then re-think your college list and drop the applications to places you aren’t willing to shell out the extra $10 for.
