Do I Stand a Chance?

<p>I know my chances must be very slim, but here's stats anyway</p>

<p>SAT I - 1390 (670 V, 720M)</p>

<p>SAT II - U.S. History 660
- Writing 700
- Math IC 610 (I know, bad)</p>

<p>GPA - 95.5% (for freshman year was about a 92, soph. 95, junior 98)</p>

<p>School doesn't rank, but last time I checked I was in top 12%.</p>

<p>7 AP courses, scored a 5 on U.S. History and Bio. </p>

<p>Not really enough info to offer much of an odds assessement. Type of high school? Where do kids ranked around the top-10 percent cutoff get accepted? Race? Ethnicity?</p>

<p>Just based on what you have given us to go on, Swarthmore is probably a pretty big reach. However, there are Swatties who get accepted with similar test scores and class rank. In most cases, there would be something that makes the applicant stand out from the pack.</p>
