I wish you the best of luck, but for the most part I have to agree with Johnny Bear. Harvard wants the strongest students in the WORLD. Sure mother Teresa changed the world, but I doubt she would have been admitted to Harvard as an 18 year old. Maybe you will change the world, but if you can't prove to Harvard that you are academically up to snuff, they are going to reject you. There are definitely a few exceptions, and maybe you'll be one, but odds are you won't.

Honestly, you dont stand a chance. The only people who I know who have gotten into Harvard were recruited athletes or people with INSANELY high test scores. I mean close to perfect scores across the board.

If you want it, then it's worth a try... and judging by the pages you wrote to promote yourself + the hours you spent on the Harvard website, I think you really want it... the raw ambition is overwhelming? So go for IT ;)
To be totally honest... I feel a little mean saying this... but you yourself really want to get into Harvard, and it's not unreasonable; you've worked very hard over the years and I think judging solely by your ECs and your GPA, you definitely deserve an acceptance letter way more than I do in a million years. If your personal charisma is on par with your descriptions, then you have a even better chance and I applaud you. :) But honestly, your post came across as a tiny, tiny bit arrogant? I?m really, really sorry to be so blunt? but I think you overplayed your "underprivileged" card a little too much. I'm sure you've had a very hard life and I can actually relate somewhat - I myself am an immigrant and my parents were also prosecuted for domestic violence a few years ago - but I did not drag that into my admissions since I seriously want what I would call a 'honest shot.' I want to excel at Harvard, not fall behind miserably... not that I?m saying you would. If you really care as little about academics as you suggested in you post, I think you should perhaps consider what my friend is doing - putting off college for a year in Peace Corp. It?s a great experience for those who are dedicated to improving the lives of others.
Oh, and if there was a student earnest about causing a riot for your rejection from Stanford? tell him that he would have lost a miserable social and legal battle... :) very cute though? Mother Theresa of California inciting violence (kidding)
If you are who you said you are? if we ever meet, drink's on me ;)
Good Luck... I hope you get what you really want...
