DO I STAND a CHANCE?

Hey, I am a California resident and a rising senior.
Can I get into the following universities with a 3.3 UW/3.6W/ 2100 on the SAT
720 Math 2/ 780 USH /760 Physics and a 32 on the ACT?
Thanks to all.

UCR
UCB
UCSD
UCLA
UCI
UCD
UCSC
UCSB
Cal Poly SLO
Purdue
UIUC
U Miami
UT Austin
U Mich Ann Arbor
GTech

i got a question for you. Are you a chance?

you will be accepted to all the uc’s you’ve entered above.

Not like I’m a trying to be a downer or anything, but that isn’t 100% true. UCLA is really weird with acceptances somethings…perfect example, this year.

that’s definitely not true. with a weighted 3.6 gpa and a 2100/32, it’ll be very difficult to get into ucla and berkeley, and most likely ucsd as well. i had a weighted 4.2 gpa and a 33, and i made all uc’s except berkeley

^ I agree about UCLA, UCB and UCSD. Freshman Admission Profile 2008 for UCLA for example lists the average UC GPA as 4.15 (22.7% admit rate)

[University of California - Admissions](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/selecting/camp_profiles/camp_profiles_ucla.html)

if i were doing admissions i would say…

UCR-in
UCB-out
UCSD-out
UCLA-out
UCI-50/50
UCD-out
UCSC-in
UCSB-50/50
Cal Poly SLO-in (i dont know too much about this school tho)
Purdue-in
UIUC-out
U Miami-in
UT Austin-50/50
U Mich Ann Arbor-out
GTech-out

you have solid SAT I and II scores and you’re a california resident, so in at all except UCB, UCLA, and UCSD
Your GPA lowers your chances quite a bit, but you’ll probably get into one of the three reaches.

Thanks for all the responses. They are very helpful.
bump 10char

i know an asian kid in my school that got into ucsd with a 1900 on the SATs.
